Lead Software Engineer at Tequipy, previously Platform Engineer at Revolut. I build practical tools — including Guitar Coach, a personal AI-driven system that turns guitar practice into structured, tracked progress.

Background

Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience in platform engineering, developer productivity, and distributed systems. What drives me is building systems and tooling that let engineers move faster and love their work — whether that's a high-throughput ledger, a company-wide code quality plugin, or a zero-downtime DB migration. Off the clock you'll find me on the guitar, on the wall, or on the bike — a climber, a cyclist, and a lifelong learner. Guitar Coach, the project below, is that same tooling instinct pointed at my own practice.

Guitar Coach

🎸 Guitar Coach

A personal AI practice system for learning guitar across three instruments — but really, a bet on consistency. Inspired by Atomic Habits, it's built to make guitar a lifelong journey that brings happiness and joy — small reps, day after day — rather than just drilling chords or songs (though musical literacy is on the roadmap too). Under the hood: three instrument coaches (electric, acoustic, classical) on structured curricula — JustinGuitar, Steve Stine theory, Bradford Werner's classical method — with every session logged, progress tracked per instrument, and a two-clock streak system keeping the habit alive. It all lives in one Git repo and auto-deploys the contribution-style heatmap below.

  • Three instrument coaches with shared theory spine
  • Two-clock practice streak tracking
  • Instrument-colored contribution heatmap
  • Teacher-lesson overlay + per-year view
  • Markdown practice journal
  • Auto-built & deployed via GitHub Actions
Live practice heatmap — rebuilt from the logs on every push

Where this is going

Guitar Coach began as a personal system — the plan is to grow it into a proper product for guitar learners, the way good training tools often start as something built for one person.

Web dashboard

Planned

A full web app over everything the system already tracks — instruments, curricula, and journal in one place, no Git required.

  • Instrument & curriculum browser
  • Session journal & progress
  • Interactive heatmap & stats

Mobile app

Planned

Log a session the moment you finish playing — not when you're back at a laptop. The real key to staying consistent.

  • Quick session capture
  • Offline logging & sync
  • Streak tracking on the go

Wearable nudges

Exploring

Lesson and streak reminders pushed to your watch, so a practice clock never quietly expires.

  • Lesson reminders
  • Streak-at-risk alerts
  • Gentle practice nudges
